These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Around the Globe: Travel Companion.
The application is developed and operated by George Tanase, trading under the Around the Globe brand.

By accessing or using the application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
Around the Globe: Travel Companion helps users:
Search for destinations and places
Discover nearby attractions, museums, restaurants, cafes, and other places
View maps, ratings, photographs, opening hours, and place information
Save favorite places
Create and organize trip itineraries
Synchronize travel information when signed in
Open external navigation, rating, official website, and ticket-information pages
Submit beta feedback
The service is currently offered as a beta. Features may change, be interrupted, or contain errors.
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms under the laws applicable to you.
Users below the age required to provide valid consent in their country should use the service only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
Creating an account is optional.
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate account information
Protecting your login credentials
Preventing unauthorized access to your account
Informing us if you believe your account has been compromised
You must not share passwords, access tokens, private API keys, or other authentication credentials through feedback or support requests.
Place information and recommendations are provided for general informational and planning purposes.
Information may be supplied by Google Maps, Google Places, official place websites, other external services, and automated ranking logic.
Around the Globe does not guarantee that:
Place information is complete or error-free
Opening hours are current
A place is open or accessible
A route is safe or available
A ticket is available
A listed price is accurate
A place is suitable for every user
Search results will include every relevant place
Recommendations are not professional travel, safety, legal, medical, accessibility, or financial advice.
Users remain responsible for confirming important details directly with the place or relevant service provider.
The Closest to me feature uses the device's current foreground location after the user grants permission.
Nearby results are estimates based on available coordinates, map data, selected distance, ratings, reviews, and other ranking factors.
Users are responsible for evaluating local conditions, routes, transportation options, safety, accessibility, and applicable rules.
The service must not be used as an emergency-navigation or safety system.
Maps, directions, place data, photographs, ratings, reviews, and related features may be provided by Google.
When the application opens Google Maps or another external service, that service's terms and privacy policy apply.

Around the Globe does not control external route calculations, traffic information, navigation instructions, or mapping accuracy.
For eligible places, the application may display a Check tickets action that opens the official website associated with that place.
This action:
Does not guarantee that tickets are available
Does not guarantee a particular price
Does not complete a booking inside Around the Globe
Does not represent a commercial relationship unless clearly stated
Does not currently use an affiliate redirect or commission arrangement
Any purchase, reservation, refund, cancellation, or dispute is between the user and the external website or service provider.
Users should verify the website, price, date, conditions, and refund rules before making a purchase.
You must not:
Use the service unlawfully
Attempt to access another person's account
Circumvent authentication, access controls, or rate limits
Attempt to extract private credentials or backend secrets
Interfere with the service or its infrastructure
Submit malicious, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful content
Use automated systems to overload or scrape the service
Misrepresent your identity when making an account or data request
Use the service in a way that infringes another person's rights
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or applicable legal obligations.
Users may voluntarily provide beta feedback, bug reports, and suggestions.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Around the Globe permission to review and use the feedback to investigate problems and improve the application.
Do not submit confidential information, passwords, access tokens, private API keys, or personal information that is not necessary for the report.
The Around the Globe name, visual identity, application interface, original software, documentation, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Third-party names, trademarks, maps, photographs, reviews, and place data remain the property of their respective owners.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to users.
The service may be changed, suspended, or discontinued in whole or in part.
Features may be unavailable because of:
Internet or device problems
Maintenance
Third-party service interruptions
API limits
Incorrect or outdated third-party data
Security requirements
Legal or policy changes
Beta testing changes
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Signed-in users can permanently delete their account from:

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, or a material breach of these Terms.
Account deletion and data handling are explained in the Privacy Policy.
The service is provided on an "as available" basis.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that the service will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular trip or purpose.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Around the Globe is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from:
Reliance on inaccurate or outdated place information
External websites or services
Route, navigation, ticket, price, or opening-hours information
User travel decisions
Network, device, API, or third-party service failures
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability resulting from fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or injury where applicable law does not permit limitation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the laws of their country of residence.

If an informal resolution is not possible, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts as determined by applicable consumer and jurisdictional law.
These Terms may be updated when the application, external services, commercial model, or legal requirements change.
The effective date will be updated when material changes are published.
Continued use after updated Terms take effect means the updated Terms apply, subject to any additional consent required by law.
